Dear Pense School Families,
As we move into the winter months, we want to ensure that all of our students stay safe during periods of bad weather or unexpected highway closures. If you work and/or live outside of town, we kindly ask that you have a plan in place for your child to go to a safe location within Pense should road conditions suddenly worsen during the school day. If you haven’t already done so, please take a moment to confirm with the office who your child can go with, and make sure your child(ren) are aware of those arrangements.
It’s also very important you notify the school with an Edsby absence, phone call or email to the teacher when keeping your child home due to bad weather or road conditions.
This helps us ensure students are safe and supervised while families wait for roads to reopen or conditions to improve.
