Remembrance Day

Remembrance Day in Canada is a national holiday observed on November 11th to commemorate the end of World War I and to honour the Canadians who have served and sacrificed in the country's armed forces.

At 11 a.m., Canadians observe two minutes of silence to remember all who have fought in wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping missions. The day is also marked by ceremonies and the wearing of red poppies, which symbolize the flowers that grew in the battlefields of the First World War.

Pense School Remembrance Day Service will take place On November 7 this year in the school gym.

Please RSVP by November 4 if you plan to attend so that we can ensure enough seating.
